Its motto ‘Relax. If you can…’ says it all. It’s one of the most popular resorts in the Alps and there are numerous bars where you can enjoy the après ski and nightlife. There is also tobogganing available every Monday and Thursday night where they take you along an illuminated 7 kilometre route at an altitude of 950 metres. It’s available from seven o’clock in the evening from the Silvrettaseilbahn. You can go on organised snowshoe tours, including a night tour from Fimbabahn which is four and a half hours long and ends with a fondue in Bodenalpe where you can enjoy the spectacular views. There is also an ice rink, two minutes from the Silvrettaseilbhan, where you can skate or play curling or hockey.
The Silvretta Center is open every day from ten in the morning until ten in the evening. It’s a sports centre with swimming pools, a spa, a gym, a bowling alley, a restaurant and an indoor tennis court. Ischgl has documented its cable car history in the Cable Car Museum along with the history of skiing and snowboarding. You can also organise paragliding trips over Ischgl and Samnaun. Twin Fly Ischgl offer trips where you can enjoy the bird’s eye panoramic views of the western Alps and the Paznaun valley.
