A visit to the National Historic Park is a must in whilst in Philadelphia, there you'll find the Liberty Ball Center and the Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Entrance is free but it gets busy quickly so you should go early. Franklin Square is a beautiful place to relax with family or friends, especially in the summer. Take a ride on the nice antique carousel, have fun playing mini golf with all the city's symbols or relax in the park after a visit to the National Constitution Center.
Along Arch Street you can see many interesting places like Elfreth's Alley, the oldest street in the country. The home of Betsy Ross, who was the designer of the United States flag and U.S. Mint, where money is printed. The National Constitution Center and the Federal Reserve are where exhibitions about the economy are on display. The Philadelphia Art Museum is world renowned and is home to the 99 steps made famous in the movie Rocky Balboa. The statue of Rocky is at the bottom of the steps.
