With Scenic Helicopter Tours and Lake Tahoe Hot Air Balloon Ride you can get incredible views of the surroundings, the Yosemite and Carson Valley peaks, Emerald Bay and Lake Tahoe’s sapphire blue waters.
Families can have fun at Heavenly Tubing Hill, named as the number one tubing hill in the United States, where there are five 500 m long lines to descend and other games. It’s open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 until 15:00. A gondola ride to the Heavenly Mountain summit is a great way of seeing the fantastic panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. There is a stop at the Tamarack Lodge viewpoint and you’ll have views towards Nevada and California from the restaurant. The resort also has areas where you can relax, such as the popular Sierra Hot Springs and Tavertine spas. The village also has many shops and restaurants and bars. The cosmopolitan atmosphere, events and two casinos offer entertainment until the early hours.
