If the ocean is flat and you want to move, you'll find the excellent Banzai Skate Park at the third exit on the 83 heading towards Waimea Beach. The legendary town of Haleiwa is the heart of the North Shore and you can rent a SUP board from one of the many surf shops there and paddle up the Anahulu River. If you feel like doing something different and want to get to know the island a little better, you should visit the incredible Waimea Valley nature park and botanical gardens. It's an important historical and cultural part of the island. A walk in the valley to the waterfalls whilst being surrounded by lush vegetation and the singsong of all kinds of birds is also something you shouldn't miss during your visit to Oahu.
