The best months to skate in Paris are May and August, although there is often good weather until September. The spot is quite worn and the floor has cracks but the locals continue skating there because this legendary place still has many more sessions in it.

The Palais de Tokyo is a building on the Seine that houses modern and contemporary art and is well recognised as one of the world landmarks for skateboarding. Better known among skaters as ‘Le Dome’, you can see this square in the legendary skate videos and it has been a venue for events like the ES Game of Skate or the Go Skateboarding Day in Paris. The highlight of this place is the 3 flat 3 double set, the huge hubba with 16 steps and a smooth floor, although today it’s pretty damaged. Skaters who have honed this square are Flo Marfaing, Stephane Larance, Frank Barattiero, Luy Pa Sin, Vassilli Ritter and Jacque Bethlon among many others.
El Palais de Tokyo es un edificio a orillas del Sena que alberga el arte moderno y contemporáneo, además de reconocerse como uno de los lugares de referencia en el mundo del skateboarding. Más conocida por los patinadores como ‘Le Dome’, esta plaza la has podido ver en míticos vídeos de skate y ha sido lugar de celebración de eventos como el ÉS Game of Skate o el Go Skateboarding Day de París. Lo más destacable de este lugar es el doble set de escaleras 3 plano 3, los enormes hubbas de 16 escaleras y su suelo liso para flatear, aunque a día de hoy está bastante castigado. Skaters que han pulido esta plaza son Flo Marfaing, Stephane Larance, Frank Barattiero, Luy Pa Sin, Vassilli Ritter y Jacque Betholon entre muchos otros.
The Defense, Bercy and La Vague along with Le Dome are places of reference for skating in Paris. Most of the streets and squares in this city have smooth floors and are very comfortable to skate on. Trocadero Square is nearby and there you’ll see the famous Eiffel Tower. Place des Vosges, the Arc de Triomphe, Boulevard St. Germain, Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde and Luxembourg Gardens are examples of other landmarks that you can visit in this city of love.
