You’ll find a large parking area close to the skatepark. There are toilets and if you want to buy food or drink there are often trollies lying around. Be careful and keep an eye on where you leave your backpack. At the weekends it gets super busy. This skatepark is outdoors so bear in mind that the wettest time is between May and September.
Encontrarás una amplia zona para aparcar cerca del skatepark, hay cuartos de baño y si quieres comprar comida o bebida suelen haber carritos en los alrededores. Eso sí, ándate con ojo de donde dejas la mochila. Los fines de semana se colapsa. El skatepark está al aire libre así que ten en cuenta que cuando se registran más precipitaciones es entre mayo y septiembre.
The Los Reyes Skatepark is one of the biggest in Chile. It has a big street zone and a bowl that develops into the shape of a snake. It has been host to events such as the Vans Royal Sidestripe. The bowls develop progressively from being gentle to quite vertical. The street zone is characterised by a large bank which has a respectable handrail, a quarter with curving, a ramp to get air and a set of stairs with a hubba and an accessible handrail. Admission is free and it’s solely for skaters.
El Skatepark Los Reyes es uno de los más grandes de Chile, tiene un Bowl que se desarrolla en forma de serpiente y una gran zona de Street. Ha albergado eventos como el Vans Royal Sidestripe. Los bowls evolucionan de forma progresiva desde los más suaves a ollas bastante verticales. La zona de street se caracteriza por un gran plano inclinado que tiene un handrail respetable, un quarter con curving, una ramp para volar y un set de escaleras con un hubba y handrail asequibles. La entrada es gratuita y está destinado sólo a skaters.
Just seven minutes away by car, in the Metro Rondizzoni Justice Centre, there is a very good street spot with excellent handrails and curbs. It’s better to go on a Sunday so that you don’t have any problems with the guards there. The Santiago library is closer and there you’ll find mani pads and ledges in a big square with a good surface. If you want to rest a bit from skating then you can visit St. Cristobel Hill from where you’ll have incredible views of the whole city. The Patio Bellavista is a courtyard in the main tourist and bohemian area of Bellavista where there is a multitude of cultural activities and gastronomy that you shouldn’t miss. You could also visit St. Lucia Hill, the Moneda Palace and the Plaza de Armas among others.
A unos siete minutos en coche, en el centro de justicia de Metro Rondizzoni, hay un spot callejero muy bueno con handrails y bordillos de suelo. Lo mejor es ir en domingo para evitar problemas con la seguridad. Más cerca está la biblioteca de Santiago, donde hay mani pads y bordillos en una plaza bien amplia con suelo muy bueno. Si lo que quieres es descansar un poco de patín puedes visitar tranquilamente el Monte San Cristóbal, el cual tiene una vista increíble de toda la ciudad. El Patio Bellavista es una plaza de entrada al barrio turístico y bohemio de Bellavista, donde coincide un gran bagaje de actividades culturales y gastronómicas que tampoco debes perderte. También puedes visitar Cerro Santa Lucia, La Moneda y Plaza de Armas, entre otros.
